Nexans Power Accessories connect all types of power cables, for high, medium and low voltage and for all conductor types and sizes. Nexans Power Accessories connect cable to equipment, for instance, cable to transformers, to switchgear, to electric vehicle charging stations, and we connect underground cables to each other.
Our connections are used both onshore and offshore, for example in offshore wind farms or on oil and gas platforms.
With the brand GPH® we manufactures connection technology for aluminum and copper conductors in energy cables and overhead lines of power transmission and distribution networks. GPH® contacts ensure highest ampacity for any kind of conductor design. For the installation of durable, long lasting connections with optimum contact force, products may be selected from mechanical connection technology or several compression ranges.
Separable connectors of the EUROMOLD® brand are used to connect polymer insulated cable to equipment in indoor and outdoor areas, for example transformers, switchgear or motors. In addition, the thick conductive EPDM jacket offers a variety of advantages: a total safe touch screen or protection against animal pests.
Equipment bushings are molded, epoxy-insulated parts for use in equipment insulated with oil fluid or gas. Typically used for transformers, switchgear and capacitors.
Indoor or outdoor applications, cold or heat shrink technology and slip-on terminations – here you will find the right ends for your applications - easy and quick to install.
Straight joints are designed for jointing screened polymeric cable to be laid in air or directly buried. The product is fully screened and fully submersible.
Nexans Power Accessories offer separable EPDM connectors and surge arresters, terminations made of silicone or composites, joints, bushings and junction solutions up to 72.5 kV, mechanical conductor contacts and tools for cable preparation.
Nexans Power Accessories manufacture customized, pre-assembled cable lines according to your specifications - with interface A to F connectors and terminations with cable lengths from 2-150 meters for any kind of medium voltage distribution grid and industrial applications up to 72.5 kV.
