Nexans Power Accessories Czech Republic continued the long tradition of GPH, spol. s r.o., which was founded in Kynšperk nad Ohří in February 1993 as a 100% subsidiary of the German company Gerhard Petri & Co. KG from Hof.

After a short period of operation on the Czech and Slovak market only as a distributor of the parent company's products, we put into operation the first presses and drills in June 1994 in a newly built production hall. The official start of the complete production on the production area of 1000 m2 took place in January 1995.
Due to the ever-increasing demand for our products both at home and abroad, the existing capacity proved to be insufficient. For this reason, in 1999 the production complex was expanded by another 1000 m2, including new social areas with capacity for 30 employees.

Since 2002, our company GPH, spol. s r.o. has been part of the multinational Nexans concern based in Paris.
At the end of 2004, we completed a new operations hall, doubling our production and warehouse space.
In 2018, a project to build a new logistics centre in Cheb with an area of 15,000 m2 was launched. The construction was completed in 2019 and the first operations were launched there during 2020. The logistics center specializes in the assembly and distribution of HV cable assemblies produced by Nexans and in the production of prefabricated cable clamps (jumpers), which are distributed worldwide.
